Our beautifully appointed Long Room can host 200 guests, is just 200m from Forsyth Barr Stadium and has very affordable bar prices. The venue’s unique layout and superb views make it a definite winner with our guests. The Long Room provides picturesque views overlooking our international cricket ground which makes it the perfect place to host your next event.

The Long Room was a fantastic venue choice for our son’s 21st party. Andy was outstanding, along with his bar staff and security guard. Although the room was narrow and long it seemed to work very well. With dancing and music down one end and the bar the other end, where it was easier to talk. We were able to bring in our own food and waiting staff which was fantastic (To keep costs down) and have the use of their kitchen to heat up food. Great night, staff and great venue.

We recently held our engagement party at The Long Room, and were really impressed by how helpful the staff were right from our initial first meeting. They really made our whole night run without a hitch. Being able to access the room's projector for our slideshow and decorate how we wanted (plus have our own music), as well as bring in our own food for the party, really made it the perfect venue for us. We would 100% recommend The Long Room for any kind of function!
